SDP Core — Devious Padlock
The locking engine behind every SDP module.
An RLV detach-lock with a 6-tier access matrix, keyholder and owner control, an auto-release timer, anti-tamper watchdog and signed persistence. Standalone it is a complete padlock — link any SDP module and they share one menu.
Key features
- Access matrix — 6 tiers (Owner, Keyholder, Trusted, Group, Public, Wearer) across 5 lock states decide who may lock, unlock, take or drop the key.
- Keyholder & owner — a 20m picker hands the key, sets the owner or adds trusted avatars. Ownership is MD5-signed: a forged owner clears itself.
- Auto-release timer — owner-set countdown to auto-unlock; add time on the fly. A timer that lapsed while offline is honored on next attach.
- Anti-tamper watchdog — holds the detach lock against out-of-band removal: instant alarm, a heartbeat that re-locks in seconds, and a keyholder IM.
- RLV detach lock — restrictions replay each boot and survive relog. Freeze mode welds it shut for everyone (Welder addon).
- Persistence — survives detach, relog, region crossing and inventory swap. An integrity check fails safe to LOCKED.
- Modular platform — SDP modules self-register as buttons in one shared menu.
Requirements
- RLV / RLVa viewer (Firestorm recommended)
- Any wearable host object with a touchable prim
Included
7 framework scripts (Core, Hub, Menu, MenuConfig, Persistance, Scanner, Sentinel) + README. No mesh — use any prim.
Important
- The framework every SDP module requires, sold separately — modules add the restraints.
- “Inescapable” is a consensual RLV contract: the viewer's RLV-off is the ultimate escape, and anti-tamper re-locks once it returns. Not an absolute cage.
